Young Labour January Meeting
Young Labour members met on Saturday 13th January for their monthly meet up. There were 12 young members present, a record!
We discussed the NHS demonstration taking place on Gower Street in London on Saturday 3rd February and highlighted our desire to get involved. Young members came up with various ideas for correx boards so that Reading Young Labour is seen and heard at the demonstration! (see designs below)
Young Labour also discussed blog ideas for issues that matter to young people. Every young member came up with their own issue and it was decided that we will have a blog post every other week with an issue that matters to young people.
We also spoke about the two planned events, one about encouraging young people to vote and another about encouraging young people to join Labour and get involved in our movement. Both would have speakers and different activities. Watch this space!
