West Berkshire
As well 7 of the 16 Reading Borough Council Wards, Reading and district Labour Party also represents 6 wards which form part of the District of West Berkshire. These are Birch Copse, Calcot, Pangbourne, Purley on Thames, Theale, and Westwood, and collectively are represented by West Berkshire Branch Labour Party.
Whilst not part of Reading Borough Council, the West Berkshire wards are within Reading West constituency and represents over a quarter of Labour Members in the constituency.
Unlike the other wards listed on this website, West Berkshire doesn’t have a any Reading Borough Councillors to act as a point of contact for this ward. We have therefore nominated Suzie Ferguson as Chair of the Branch and a key party activists that will be happy to assist with any questions regarding West Berkshire Branch.
