Caversham

Councillor Jacopo Lanzoni

Jacopo was elected councillor for Caversham in 2022, and he is standing for re-election in 2026. Since 2024, he has been Chair of the Traffic Management Sub-Committee. In 2020, Jacopo founded the litter picking group Keep Caversham Tidy. PhD in applied mathematics from UCL, Jacopo works as head of development for a software company. In his free time Jacopo, who lives in Caversham with his two cats Millie and Tony, enjoys reading books, studying classics, and going to the gym.

Councillor Jan Gavin

Jan has represented Caversham Ward since 2022, having previously been a councillor for Redlands Ward [2012 to 2020]. Jan was until recently a governor of Caversham Primary and also sits on the Advisory Board of The Weller Centre. Jan always works hard to make sure the diverse Caversham Community has a voice on the council and believes deeply that success lies in working together. On the council Jan currently serves as Chair of Planning Applications Committee.
